i have vb6 but no mswinsock...how to get it??

You must have it in your computer or you won't be able to connect to the Internet. Winsock is available as a standard system files for every Windows since Windows 95

In VB6, Winsock control is not shown in the toolbox by default. You'll have to add it to the toolbox, right click on the toolbox > Components > Put a checkmark on "Microsoft Winsock Control 6.0" > OK, a new toolbar button should appear

Or alternatively, when you start a new project, you could choose to the VB Enterprise Edition Controls rather than Standard EXE
