When a girl has no make up on it looks more natural, and not only that but too much makeup actually can look.. not necessarily gross but, yeah. Too much or too dark of a tone is a personal turnoff for me. Like too much lipstick when it turns their lips dark red.. i prefer girls with lipgloss because its a light coat and still makes their lips look nice, too much eyeliner or eyeshadow just looks too unnatural and if its really dark it just doesnt look right. Makeup isnt a bad thing as long as you know what you're doing and you only use enough to make everything look smooth, if it looks blotchy or really dark, i think its a turnoff to some.

Make up is not the problem ... the problem is that most girls dont know how to apply it so it doesnt look like the hooker from the corner ...
I barely use make up only eyeliner ... why to much chemicals kills the skin ... look at the stars when the found without make up ... the skin is mostly ruined ... the hair too ...
its just to much and takes away from the natrual beauty ... learn how to accent those assets ...

The make up things should fit naturally on the girl's face and body. If it doesn't, yes what your brother said is correct. And it should be very natural and shouldnt look like she spent some time to 'decorate' her or show layers of powders and cream etc., especially the lipstick. It would also show your taste.

Too many girls think they need to put on a lot of make-up to glamorous, but most just look like little girls playing with their mother's make-up. Girls and young women only need to put on minimal amount of make-up to highlight their youth and beauty.

I like light makeup on a women, but when they start caking it on around their eyes and wearing dark colored lipstick, I personally think it makes them look like a whore.
