Evidently you were taught all your life to not be rude, and any form of discourteousness bothers you. Not signalling is inconsiderate, and letting this bother you makes you not such a good driver for a few moments since your attention is on their rudeness.
Just try to ignore them lack of courtesy, and keep concentrate on your good driving habits instead.
Good luck!

Not using turn signals does bother me. As a professional driver I see it all too often. When I see someone turn or change lanes without a signal, I just say to them "Hey, they are going to put turn signals on next years model. get you one of those!" Not using signals is the result of that person being either in too big of a hurry or just plain rudeness and laziness. Fortunately more and more the police ARE writing tickets for improper lane change and failure to signal intent. Use yours and just remember that the other guy who didn't is the one you need to watch for-everytime

Don't let it bother you.
#1... you should be expecting them to move back over anyway.
#2... as long as they make sure they have passed you and have some distance between, rather than running you off the road, they aren't hurting anything.
It is more technically correct to use the signal for every lane change.
Most people give me funny looks for using the signals... I figure its thier problem, not mine.

Yes. People who don't use their signals bother me regardless of what maneuver they're pulling (or not pulling). If I had unlimited resources, I would buy 10 million "driving lessons" and give them to the people of Los Angeles.
I think it bothers me because the disregard the bad driver is displaying for the motorists around him/her. It's common courtesy to indicate what you're going to do, so other drivers don't get caught up in it and damage their rides or be forced to slam on their brakes.

I find if I use my turn signal the other person speeds up so I can't get in. If I don't use my turn signal I make sure I'm not jumping on top of someone, I keep a safe distance.

That would be a great revenue source if they could put a police task force on just turn sig violators. At say, 100 bucks an infraction, the dollars would flow!

What bothers me more are the idiots that pull out in front of me at the last minute and cause me to slam the brakes on.

it used to but now since i do it myself it doesnt. If you speed, using signals when changing lanes draws attention. I do it if its necessary, as a heads up in close traffic.

Yes, it bothers me. People in my city don't EVER use their blinkers - not even for turning. It annoys me to no end. What, you think you're being stealth? Or are you just too lazy to extend your little finger to turn it on? I can't figure it out.
