i have just recently got a little jack russell x chihuahua shes a girl and i called her charlie. she super cute but everyday she looks different and i dont know what shes gonna end up looking like. does anyone out there have one? what do they look like and what type of personality do they have?
p.s her mum was pure bred jack russell and her dad was pure bred chihuahua. =)

Crossing a dog which has been bred for years as a pure companion with a dog which has all the working instincts of a vermin killer makes no sense. The puppies may take after the Chihuahua or the Jack Russell or be an unpredictable mix of both. Anyone who deliberately breeds this cross is not worried about health or temperament.

I have a Jack Russel/Tenterfield. Tenterfields are intermittantly bred with chihuahuas for size. My puppy turned into a big fluff ball! (but she is still as gorgeous as ever). Her nature to people is adorable - affectionate, passive and submissive. She is always shy at first of strangers and she doesn't like other dogs much!

i had a jack r but wasnt mixed. he was very happy fun and extremely hyper. i loved her till she moved on .she had a biting problem and i had a very hard time breaking her of. all in alll u will have to give this dog alot of attention and needs to be walked alot
