The chewing gum was what is now being advertised as 'Trident' but I know it wasn't called that. It was around approximately 20 - 25 years ago, or maybe even longer!

Freshen-up. Im 39 yrs old, and thats what I chewed as a teenager in the 80's. It was the cool thing to do!

I think Jen T was the quickest with the answer you want, Freshen Up gum. I'm not familiar with that kind. I was thinking a different one, called Chewels. I remember it being just plain bubble gum but had a cherry-flavored syrup center.

Denteen or dentine, remember it claimed some far fetched dental health pluses, it was more expensive that usual sweety stuff so only ever bought it once. When I saw the advert I was reminded of this stuff from years ago too

I remember 1 called dentine a cinnomen flavoured gum.Is that the 1 your thinking of.

I remember a pink one called bubblelicious or something.. never heard of freshen up, was that in the UK or US??

I remember chewing cinnamon Chewels. I'm pretty sure that it was Saccharin-based and the issue raised was that Saccharin caused cancer and the product was eventually phased out.
