Are we gonna have world peace soon?

When we humans finally figure out that our worst enemy is government of any sort. It can be any form of government but so long as there are people trying to lead they always will have a cause or excuse for fighting. It is the nature of governments. Without an outside enemy they have no reason to exists.
We are all humans and ll live on the same planet. What is the purpose of dividing us into factions?

I think it would be wonderful if all wars would end, but I don't think it is going to happen. Too many people the world over have drastically varying opinions on issues in life (womens' rights, religion, types of government, rights of minorities, taxation, etcetera, etcetera).
I believe that we would be much better off if we could all have a society that welcomes all people and all beliefs without pushing them on one another. The US has many many freedoms for these types of things and we are the highest murdering country in the world. I don't think it will ever make sense to me why people can't just let other people live without attempting to control or change them.
Why do people in our society attack one another when they don't "respect" them. It is ridiculous. why should anyone care if they are respected or not by anyone else in the world? The only respect we need is our own.
Then again, when it comes to adultry, cheating, lying, and breaking the law; I am sure I would get pretty heated and I just hope I could keep a level head and not become violent and hateful, but I won't know until I come across that situation.
Long answer to a short question: I don't think our species is capable of it.

wars will end when people stop fighting. that wont happen. ever. it is the nature of humans to identify with a 'tribe' and build allies against an 'enemy'. this is the basic theme behind any conflict between groups, be it religions, nations or gangs.
a nice idea, but unrealistic to hope for world peace
an alternative answer is when women have majority power in the world and we live in a matriarchal society. men are the main protagonists in almost all forms of violence and aggression. would a female oriented world society have fewer wars??? possible, but unfortunately will also never happen....so we will never know

World peace? Is there such a thing? Humans couldn't survive in such a place. It's not in their nature. Hence world peace would be a world without humans.

Its human nature to fight or to want to be better or have more than someone else. As long as there is life on this planet, there will be conflict of some sort.
