I don't think anything ever goes just as planned for anybody. It's just life. I know I make plans and it will seem like all is in place, but usually at the last minute a wrench gets thrown in it and I have to deal with it. A lot of times it's how you deal with it that actually ruin the outcome, not the problem that comes up.

Yes, I planned to use the business degree wisely.. ..I am an out of work actress/waitress! Well, I'm having a ball, but not the one I thought I would! And perhaps not the sensible route, but I know I have something to fall back on. Cheers :)

Maybe your plans are flawed. What is the common factor in everything going wrong? Your plans.
Try to remove yourself from the situation and look at things impartially. You'll probably realize that they weren't the best laid plans, and that maybe your emotions at the time made you believe they were all good plans.
Unfortunately it sometimes takes failure to realize how to do better in the future.

Perhaps those plans aren't ment to happen at the moment, go with the flow. Often things don't work out for the best when you look back in hindsight. :o)

first, are your plans realistic and achievable? If not, that could be why.
Are you sabotaging yourself in any way, maybe even without knowing it?
think about timing, are you giving yourself a buffer to make sure you can get someplace on time or do something on time?
Just because you plan, it may not be realistic.

How can you be so sure the plans really were "best Laid...?" It's far more than likely that your methodology is flawed - but that you don't know it or can't admit it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. It's all part of life. Eventually it will make you a stronger person, but you just can break the laws of gravity. Some of us just aren't as lucky as others.
