I think what Religion produces in some people is a false sense of confidence and hope. It tends to give people an ego that could match King Kongs and when it gets that far, they then look down on others without realizing how much harm they are really doing... either they don't realize it or they don't care. As for Religions themselves, I wouldn't say they are completely fake, but they do seem to produce some fake people.

Obviously they could not be totally false...otherwise they would have disappeared long ago.
What is true dispells the false like light dispelling darkness. The two are never in conflict. Only half-truths are in conflict.
