This is usually well into my work-out. Why do I experience this? Is it a sign of over-exertion, or some kind symptom?

More of light-headedness than dizziness, really.

I've noticed that after I work-out, if I don't properly cool down, I will become light-headed and dizzy. Could this possibly be what you are experiencing. Another possibility could be that you are dehydrated.

I had the same thing with my first pregnancy. I couldn't figure out what was causing them. But, just took lots of rest and had my husband pick up the slack. It could be because of your hormones as some have suggested. However, with my second pregnancy (now 38 weeks) I couldn't afford to lay down with a toddler to chase after. I changed my diet and have had NO headaches or dizzy spells. My triggers were processed foods. Biggest inducers were hotdogs, bolgona, and premade chicken strips. Once I cut the processed foods out no more problems. It could also be your becoming more sensative to the things in your food. I've been told nitrates (a common preservative) is to blame. I'd mention it to your doc just for the record. I don't think it's anything to worry about at this point. But, later in your pregnancy if it's combined with high blood pressure they'll check you for preeclampsia or toxemia. Just thought I'd also mention if you are a migrane sufferer pre-pregnancy it could be that. Sometimes pregnancy hormones will cause migrane symptoms. However, you can't take your regular meds (due to the affect they have on your blood). The best you can get is tylenol with codine. But, I'd try natural rememdies like changing your diet.

Every so often... I can usually pinpoint this to two things:

1) not enough fluids earlier in the day.
2) not enough carbohydrates in my diet.

You might want to try a piece of fruit an hour or so before a workout. See if that helps. If it doesn't, it can't hurt to run your diet and exercise routine past your doctor, or at least, a trained professional. It *can* be a symptom of something more serious, so really pay attention to what your body is telling you.

Staying hydrated will help. Sip on water about every 10 minutes throughout your workout.

Make sure you are well hydrated and keep track of your pulse. It definetly sounds like you are working beyond what is safe.
