i'm going to a charity ball tomorow night and need some ideas on how I should have my hair. It's shoulder length and I want to put it up. I can't get to a hairdressers!!!! HELP

Have it done in a french roll, always look classy, Audrey Hepburn and Grace kelly often wore their hair like that.Have a look at Hairstyles.com you might get a good idea there.Good luck.:))

I saw a girl at the mall the other day who had her hair all pinned up in sections with bobby pins. she just twisted small sections around and put a pin through it, like thirty times or so. makes the hair stick out every which way and can be sort of a rough look but if you can't go to a hairdresser maybe you can pull that off.

If your dress is knee length then hair down
If your dress is ankle length then up do
Pants suit either way, and if it's at night wear soft color makeup to help soften the look.

I like hair that has been curled in a curling iron, and then loosely bunched up at the back with spirals hanging down everywhere.

a french plait works well on anyone, and it is suitable for any occasion. it suits any hair colour or face shape. i did that for my sisters wedding and all the brdiesmaids had their hair in a french plait with two long bits from the front of their head slightly waved. good luck!!

I think a messy bun will look good. Just try different looks, then you'll know what looks best. Your starting point should be either a pony tail or a bun and then twist you hair about or something untill you get something you think looks good.

use heated tonges curl all your hair and pin up the top section so you have cascading curls at the back, doing some thing with straight hair usually looks quite messy! curls will look more sophisticated and classy!!!

Buy one of those big clip things and put it up at the bac with a few tresses falling down - that'll look sexy!!
