If you can, provide it for me, if not, provide proof that shows that it isn't.

I am looking for facts here, to decide whether or not Christianity is based on blind faith.

The Old Testament prophet Micah, writing circa 700 B.C., out of the hundreds and hundreds of cities in the scores and scores of nations in existence all over the world even in those days, designated Bethlehem of Judea as the birthplace of the Messiah (Micah 5:2).
At about the same time, the prophet Isaiah said that the Messiah would be born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14)
A prophecy made in 1012 B.C. specified that the Messiah's hands and feet would eventually be pierced--a clear reference to death by crucifixion--800 years before the Romans ever even instituted crucifixion as a form of capital punishment! (Psalm 22:16)
Malachi 3:1, penned in about 425 B.C., specified that the Messiah would be contemporary with the temple in Jerusalem--a temple that was destroyed in 70 A.D. and has never been rebuilt.
Now, compare Zechariah 11:11-13 (written over 500 years before Christ) to Matthew 27:3-10 (written some 25-30 years after Christ). Only coincidence?
HERE'S MY POINT: A number of years ago, Peter W. Stoner and Robert C. Newman wrote a book entitled Science Speaks. The book was based on the science of probability and vouched for by the American Scientific Affiliation. It set out the odds of any one man in all of history fulfilling even only eight of the 60 major prophecies (and 270 ramifications) fulfilled by the life of Christ.
The probability that Jesus of Nazareth could have fulfilled even eight such prophecies would be only 1 in 10 to the 17th power -- that's 1 in 100, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000!!
Stoner claims that that many silver dollars would be enough to cover the face of the entire state of Texas two feet deep. Now I've been to Texas. I've driven for days to get across Texas. Texas is a very big state. Who in his right mind would suppose that a blindfolded man, heading out of Dallas by foot in any direction, would be able, on his very first attempt, to pick up one specifically marked silver dollar out of 100, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000?
THERE IS YOUR PROOF THAT THE BIBLE IS FACT.
EDIT: "Yo Yo Mama," the "Quirinian Objection" is so easily proven false that it's laughable you'd raise it. I suggest you read this: http://www.christian-thinktank.com/quirinius.html

tboysanders, I will do this once you provide me definitive proof that you exist.
Seeing you in person would be proof enough for me but it isn't going to be enough for someone else. While I can say to people I saw you in person, they would not neccessarily believe me. This would be secondhand evidence, which is the same kind of 'proof' that can be obtained about the bible. While Mary may have proof that she was the mother of Jesus, it is not proof to us.
I must retract my implication that I can provide definitive proof that the bible is fact, as I cannot. My badly thought out point was to show that the bible cannot be proved as fact, which I think still stands.
For what it's worth, I don't believe the events shown in the bible are true. I am just trying to make the point that proof is impossible.

It would take weeks to go through all the problems that have given apologists something to excuse and explain away with responses that amount to straining at gnats and swallowing camels. But I'll get you going on a historical error for which we have really strong data in opposition to the account of Luke's Gospel. Search on "Quirinian Objection." Luke particularly invents events that we have solid evidence to believe never occurred, but were invented to cast Jesus as the new Moses.
And by the way, if you look closely at these so called prophecies which amount to Quija board messages that never say specifically "Yeshua Ben Yosef will be born at such and such place at such and such time and he will be the son of god." You'd think God could make himself at least as clear as we can. The passages have either been interpreted out of context, or in trhe case ofMatthew conflated unrelated verses form different prophets into one in a way that the authors did not intend and could not have intended, or in the case of the temple of Jerusalem, the words were written into Jesus' mouth by an author writing after Jerusalem was sacked.

Belief should always be a matter of faith. Faith can be only measured in spirit, not through physical means. If you need "physical" proof, then you need to examine your own standards by which you live, not by what someone else tells or shows you.

I assume you mean "prove that the bible is the word of God". That there is a book called the bible is easily proved. That it is a collection of ancient documents is easily proved. That it is the best seller of all time year after year is easily proved. That countless people - millions upon millions - have found comfort, strength, hope, joy, and love by reading its pages and believing its message is easily proved. That countless people attest that God is in this book and that God has changed their lives through this book is easily proved. That it declares itself to be the inspired word of God is easily proved. That it points to Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind is easily proved. That hundreds and hundreds of people saw Jesus after his resurrection is easily proved.
so....
god bless!

There are too many prophecies to write them down for you. Archeology and the fulfillment of prophecies should be enough to prove the Bible is correct in every way.

I saw my bible on the nightstand this morning, so I know for a fact that it is real.
The words inside are meant to inspire you to live your life in a Christian way. It was never meant to be a history book.
Read the words....... contemplate how they relate to you........
LIVE your life accordingly.
