Yes
Personally, I think the free will of mankind is limited.
And is engulfed by the free will of the creator...
i.e. the same way humans are limited creatures so is their will
And their will does not interfere with anyone elses behaviour but Gods will can, and will interfere in the creatures behaviour.
For example, man cannot control those things outside himself. He can barely control the things inside himself with the power of will. But Gods Will can control anything that is created.
Very complicated subject.

From the Qur’anic point of view, Man is not completely a master of his fate; nor is he a puppet subject to the hazards of destiny. It is true that God’s sovereignty is all pervading and nothing falls outside its purview. This means that God knows everything and it is according to His will, things happen here. The universe is completely subject to the overriding power of God, and nothing happens without God willing it to be so.
However, God not only created everything, but He determined its nature and scope. In His infinite wisdom and mercy, He gave Man limited power and great freedoms, including the freedom of choice. It is because of this autonomy, enjoyed by Man, that he/she is held accountable for the individual deeds.
The Holy Qur’an says:
That man can have nothing but what he strives for;
Surah 53 Verse 39
... Verily never will God change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). ...
Surah 13 Verse 11

Yes , the Quran teaches free will, Many people misinterperut the Qurans teachings based on what few people do.
For example i have noticed on this forum people constantly say Islam forces people do be muslim - if you read passages from the Quran , it will tell you that ..... God says you must embrace Islam out of your own free will
The Qur’an guarantees freedom of religion and conscience. It prescribes no earthly punishment for a Muslim who effectively leaves Islam for another religion. The Qur’an makes the following, authoritative proclamations:
There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient. [2:256]
Say, ‘O you who disbelieve! I don’t worship what you worship. Nor do you worship what I worship. And I’m not worshipping what you worship. Nor are you worshipping what I worship. To you is your religion and to me is my religion.’ [109:1-6]
So remind. You are only a reminder. You are not a dictator over them. He who turns away and disbelieves, God will punish him with a great punishment. Certainly to us is their return. Then certainly upon us is their reckoning. [88:21-26]
Say, “I have solid proof from my Lord, and you have rejected it. I do not control the retribution you challenge me to bring. Judgment belongs with GOD alone. He narrates the truth, and He is the best judge.” [6:57]
The implication of these verses is that while an individual who leaves Islam may face punishment from God in the afterlife, they are immune from punishment in life. Furthermore, the Qur’an proclaims that Jews and Christians are accorded the protected status of ahl-al kitab or People of the Book:
“Believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabaeans — whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does what is right — shall be rewarded by their Lord; they have nothing to fear or to regret.” [2:62]
AMEEN….

Why pick on the Muslims? Think Communism (in its current form), think the guidelines laid down by past popes! Think rules, laws and government dictates globally, think Zimbabwe, think China, think North Korea. There are many places around the world which are not keen on 'free will' - and if you really think about it, is there really such a thing as a truly free society? free will means being able to do and say what we want when we want - but in the 'western' world, there are laws, rules, censors, religious fanatics / zealots, televangelists, politicians, corporate companies and more who do not want free will, it his hidden behind the guise of consumerism and media!

We do believe in free will. Everything we do is done in our own accordance. Yes everyone's future is already written by God cause he knows what we are going to do and when before we even do it BUT that does not mean we are actually forced to do something what im trying to say is even though our actions are already written and known we still choose it cause we see its what we feel is right. After all God is Allknowing so he should know our future before we were even born.
