Sure, be nice and cordial and trusting, but make sure you don't let them take you for granted. When she starts showing signs of taking you for granted, make a small fuss... let her know. I don't know whether you already do this or not.
What must a "nice" man do to find a woman he can truly trust with his heart? I don't know the exact answer... but I for one am someone a man can trust with his heart, even the ones who confess they like me and I don't reciprocate, I still protect their heart as best as I can. If I try to think backward, how can someone find me? I guess that would be at places I hang out, such as work, with friends, church, the many invitations of house-warmings, engagements and weddings that I go to, art gallery, music concerts, etc. All he would have to do is to come up to me and start talking. I don't think there's too much you can DO to find a woman as you described, but you need to look in the right places, and also you need to have a good discernment of their character - perhaps by looking at how they treated their family members or their past boyfriends.

It seems like the nice guys get hurt when it comes to the ladies. Ever seen a 'mean' guy ask these sort of questions?
Don't give up just yet. They say love comes when you least expect it. Give yourself sometime to cool off and heal.
Not all women are cold, selfish, heartbreakers. Just a significant amount of them are.
On the flip side, I have had the same problem with guys. I act a certain way: nice, kind, honest, sincere, loving --all of that mushy stuff, and in return I expect them to act the same way. They rarely do for any length of time.

You seem a nice kind-hearted sort of guy. Be a bit more selective, maybe. Some people don't see kindness as a quality, but rather a way of taking advantage of your 'niceties'.
Plenty of fish in the ocean, and many, I'm sure, are asking the same question of THEIR ex-relationship.
Don't show your hand all at once - be nice but keep them guessing a bit as to what you are all about.
Go for it, man! Smile and be sure..., but also be aware.

i know what u mean. Its like ur so nice and honest and all the people u date with they walk all over you and it makes you think u need to stop being nice but truth being nice is within one you can't change that. It happens...in search of finding the right person we get hurt too but one should remember one thing remember good forget the bad and move on...i know its not easy but then life is not easy either. ...time heal everything...so don't worry trust me ur better without a person who cheat on u....don't think too much...keep ur trust and faith....i'm sure u will find the right person soon

I feel you on this one bro. Been there done that. Don't give up, keep being yourself. Wait for a nice lady to come along that will like you for who you really are. I know that sounds cliche but it's the truth.
For me it seemed like as soon as I gave up looking for the perfect one for me she just accidentally popped in my life.
