I am not doubting that he is good as anyone else as a soldier. But could he and The Blues, (his regiment) be targeted because of who he is, and will his comrades have to take their "eye off the ball" to see he stays in one piece.

It's likely. None of his comrades are going to want to have to explain why they didn't protect him from this or that, even though it's not in their best interest as soldiers to fight in Iraq. Perhaps his deployment has something to do with the fact that the Brits are brining a bunch of their troops home quickly? Then they can say, "Well, look at what all we sacrificed in the name of this bloody, unwinnable war! We put Prince Harry on the line!" =D
Maybe we should get a clue and send OUR government leaders. Let's start with Bush, Cheney and the Cabinet, and work our way down the tree 'til someone gets a clue about what they're actually doing and brings all of our troops home! It aggravates me how they treat 3,000 like it's just a number, when it's deaths they're counting...

No,he is not a liability.
He took the Queen's commission and is willing to face what that means,like his uncle,Andrew.

maybe not a liabillity, but he will certainly be a prime target. But he joined the army and so has the same obligations as everyone else.

In the present world - its ridiculous to talk of monarchy. In my view the queen and her family deserve nothing but rotten shi*. They are a burden to the society. Who cares if he goes to Iraq or hell (both are same ofcourse). Well, if both r same, dont u think he is going to the right place - lets hope its a point of no return
