I want a man like you!

Firstly make sure the house is nice and tidy (nothing worse than being ill in a pigsty) and there are clean sheets on the bed.

Get some good healthy food in, lots of fruit and veg to help her on her recovery! But also some nice treats. And you must make all the meals!

Some good romcoms on DVD will cheer her up too!

If you do all of this then all she has to worry about is getting better! Good luck, you are a good man!

put together a care package...... tissues, over the counter pain reliever or mutli system flu meds, throat lozenges, water, echinnechea tea, unpasterized local honey,100% fruit juice with 100% vitamin c, chicken soup, popsciles, heating pad, movies, magazines, and what ever you did that helped you feel better or would help her. you dont have to spend alot, pick and choose what you think its best, and put it all in nice basket, even from a dollar store would be nice. offer to spend tiem with her if she wishes, be helpfull but kinda stay out of the way too... it depends on her... some people appreciate being doted on....other just want to left alone... but the best you can do is stay close. let her know your there for her no matter what... also you could help with any errands she needs,cAring for the kids, dishes, pets etc.....i wish her a speedy recovery.
oh my husbands home remedy.... a hot bowl of chicken soup with a peanut butter sandwhich even a 1/2 sandwhich... and dunk the sandwhich in the soup bite by bite... its doesnt soudn good, but it does really help you relax and rest....

Maybe he has grown up learning to act this way. Maybe that is the true person that he is, and you need to find someone else. Honestly, a relationship with someone should be a relationship with the family too. Your family is the only group of people that cares about you more than anyone ever has, or can care about you. They wouldn't tell you that he is not worth it if he truly was. They want what is best for you. Maybe you should listen to your family on this one. Also, a mother's intuition is usually ALWAYS right. EVERYTIME my mom has said "i really don't like this guy" or "this will happen" it ALWAYS does.

Make her chicken soup and keep supplying her with liquids to drink. 7-Up is good, and a variety of juices so she won't get tired of the same thing. Be there for her.

You could make her some chicken soup and tuck her in bed with some good girlie magazines. It always does the trick, well for me at least.

make sure she drinks plenty - soup, tea etc get her kleenex balsam tissues if she's sneezing lots. Make sure she has lots of comfort things around her - nice blanket/hot water bottle and painkillers.

Your sweet for thinking of doing something. Just tell her that if she needs anything that you will help her and that you will help her get better. Just hearing that will make her feel much better.
