highlights on guys?

Question

me and my friends are thinking about having blonde highlights. I'm not really convinced...I have really think/strong hair and therefore think that it may look kinda strange lol.

I need some opinions... do guys with highlights look gay??
would they suit me or would I look like a proper muppet?

well..i think u yourself should see if it suits on u ...u can use the photoshop program n scan ur pic then try the blond highlights on ur hair virtually n then decide...2nd..dont care wut ppl thnk of u..if u like it n they thnk ur a gay jss dnt care..ur doin this cuz u thnk its cool nt cuz they do..n in my opinion..dnt talk 2 ppl who just judge u 4 how u look--->cuz u dnt jugde a book by its cover :D

It relies upon on the place you're in the international. For exmaple in East Asia blonde highlights are very widespread for the two women and adult males persons. regardless of the undeniable fact that throughout Western international places it style of feels much less widespread yet i understand adult males in Western international places that have have been given blonde highlights too.

I'm a guy and highlighted my own hair. Why did I do it? Because i wanted to, i didn't care what other people thought, and you shouldn't either. Just don't do it the same time as your friends, other than that, have fun with your hair and don't about other people.

well i honestly got nothing against guys with highlights, they wont make u look gay either! u just gotto do it 4 u and for no one else, ur only young and now is the best time to do theses things without looking like ur having mid life drama! i would just do and if u dont like them u can always dye over the top of them, uve only got short hair, it wont take long to grow out.

I dont really like guys with highlights but with your hair texture, it would look good for you. Ask the neartest salon [lol] and ask what color would belnd in with ur hair to make it barely noticeable but still noticeable, get it? They'll know what to do for you. Good luck :)

I dont think it looks gay at all. I honestly think it is very sexy on a fella. Thick strong dark hair is the best to get it done in. Now that matched up with a c cut, absolutely perfect!!

i like your hair short better than long. you have a long face and the long hair makes it look longer and thinner.

spike it first. then use the bleach with your fingertips to hilite just the tips of your hair. don't go down to the scalp.

you have beautiful eyes. to make them 'pop' hilite a few chunky pieces at the temple area and higher. don't get the part of the fringe that hangs down into your face.

this way, if you don't like the way it looks it will be cut out with your next cut. and it looks more natural in the first place.

Noo. Highlights on guys just look as if they're trying too hard to look cool. My advice is to stay naturally dark.

me personally cant stand men who look pretty highlights to me give off an Aura of a man who is vain. any man that's stands in front of the mirror longer than me is a no no. that's my personal opinion.but if you want it go for it you can always throw a colour close to your own colour if you don't like the end result ...good luck

personally i dislike guys with highlights, i always think they look either gay or a vain pretty boy! i like a guy with naural hair but styled to suit them, it's much more sexier and manly. sorry if ive offended any guys with highlights!! xx
