Nope...height is genetic....controlled by the pituitary gland...Stretching does the body good though....keep it up and stay limber...

temporarily, I suppose. In fact, I've heard that people get a little taller while they are sleeping, but recompress once they have been vertical for a while. But any permanent increase woud certainly involve permanent damage to the joints (as if you'd been put on a rack). Bones won't stretch no matter how much you pull on them.

(If they would, there'd be horny teenage boys walking around with johnsons longer than a giraffe's neck. HAR)

Height is predetermined by genetic material and inherited from parents. It would be impossible to gain any height although stetching does lengthen and thin the muscles, making the person leaner. This is why yoga is such a great form of relaxation and people that practice are in such lovely shape.

Stretching itself does not increase your height. However, what it can do is lengthen the muscles and allow you to stand straighter. This gives you the appearance of being taller. I stand very straight and always have. People have commented on me being tall and yet I am just a little taller than average. Think of yourself as being suspended by a thread on top of your head!
Stand and walk tall...as my grandfather the Sergeant-Major would have said..."Stomach in , chest out, shoulders back!"
