Because someone is a Christian, that does not make them perfect. We as Christians are on a journey. We are not prefect, just forgiven. Everyone, even some Christians, struggle with something in their lives.
That is one of the reasons I don't judge others. We are commanded to LOVE not judge.
Peace to you.

I concur with Martin S.'s answer. It seems to be the most Biblically based. The Church is in an uproar over sin. I'm being taught that we are to be judging each other WITHIN our own church and not those outside. We want everyone to come to Church regardless of their clothes or their bodies to meet Jesus. Read your Bible and pray each and every day!

The Bible makes it clear that the only way to "defile" the body is for a believer to unite his or her body sexually with an unbeliever because in some spiritual way when two people have sex they become "one flesh".
"Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her?
For, as it is written, "The two will become one flesh."
But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Flee from sexual immorality.
EVERY OTHER sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:15-20
Jesus also talked about what REALLY defiles a person and it isn't food.
"And he said to them, "Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
And he said, "What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person." Mark 7:18-23

this is actual that a Christian ought to take care of their bodies and wellness through fact we are a temple of the Holy Spirit. despite the fact that, this is even truer that a Christian must be following God and Heaven first previously the rest. this suggests if exercising gets in the way of serving God on the grounds which you haven't got adequate time and/or funds to realize this, one shouldn't exercising through fact it must be hindering the dominion of Heaven. it fairly is seen in a million Timothy 4:8.

Some people are obese and it is a sin. However, we all sin, therefore, defiling God's temple. God will work with people to rid them of their sins a little at a time. He doesn't pour our sins on us all at once, when we become saved. We couldn't handle that. We would give up on God in our weakness and hatred for ourselves. God works on our sinfulness in His time. He will reveal it at the perfect time for us and for Him.

The bible says for us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, Holy & acceptable unto God, It did not say to present a thin body or a fat one. Many people that is fat, is not their problem, but in some cases it is a gene problem.
