O.K. Having a few problems at the moment, and dont know really how to start.... have been with my girlfriend for nearly a year, and we were friends for ages before that. It just seems that although I really like her, every conversation we have lately, she just says something that winds me up, or almost says something that she knows I'll argue with....it never used to be like that before. we dont seem to communicate very well in conversations, i ask questions, and she answers with an answer as if I answered a different question. We had problems a few months back, as she went on the pill for us to start having sex, we're both virgins, and it was difficult for me to know what I was doing, hence she got angry at me, when I didnt know what I was doing. All through our relationship, she doesnt start any kind of intimacy, its always me, i always start the kissand she says its cos shes shy. I bought her flowers for v.day, yet didnt get as much as a card. yet when i ask her, she says shes happy!

So, you ruined a beautiful Friendship by becoming sexually involved with each other...pity! Sex causes tension. Neither of you have had any sexual experience. You want the friendship you had before...sex got in the way. As friends, she knew you liked being around her because of a true bond, now she feels you want to be around, for sex...Also, if her mood change started with the pill, THAT could be a huge factor. Have her go to her Dr.(go with her)and see if she can change prescriptions. Better yet, stop having sex and find the friendship you both enjoyed so much...if it has died.

I know it looks gloomy now, but in every relationship you go through this sort of thing. Just make sure that it doesn't take you breaking up to realize that you want it to work. Talk to her about how you feel and try and resolve the issue.
Hold on, it will all pay off and by the way, practise makes perfect.
