HI,
I know a great "home" remedy. You will be amazed of how well it works:
Use a little olive oil, (warm), soak her hair with it, then put it into a wet warm towel and leave it like this for an hour. After that wash her hair well, rince it with a little vinegar (made out of apples) and then rince it with lots of water.
You will be amazed how quick and visible the results are.
You can do this 2-3 times per week.
Hope this helps. Its inexpensive and very easy to use. I know because I have used it myself with great results.

It's damaged and keeps breaking off. You need to condition, condition, condition...and keep getting it trimmed.

Keeping the ends trimmed keeps each hair from splintering upwards....which eventually leads to breakage. If you had your hair straightened, that is most likely the cluprit. It's basically like a perm, that you keep combing out straight. Regardless, of the shape you are putting your hair into...the damage is the same as if you'd had a curly perm.

You have two choices. You are gonna have to live with it...keeping it trimmed and super conditioned....along with maybe some gel or other products....until it eventually gets trimmed away....
or
you are gonna have to go ahead and get a shorter cut, and let it grow back out.

Hope this helps.

I'm a mixed male, my dad is black (from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago) and my mom is white (all sorts or European stuff like Irish and Italian and basically everything else) and my hair is relatively straight, it curls a bit when it's long but not very much otherwise and I have very dark skin for a mixed person so I kind of look strange with long hair so I've spent quite a few years with braids and dreadlocks and stuff like that

Your hair is damaged. When you start using relaxers and hair dyes you have to be careful and let a professional take care of your hair. These chemical are damaging to your hair, you need to go to your hair salon and get a deep conditioner. You will need to cut the damaged ends from you hair also. Instead of relaxer your hair, try getting it straightened by blow dryer or flat iron. Also your hair needs lots of moisturizers once you start adding chemicals. Your hair stylists should have discussed this with you before you left the salon. If he/she didn't you may want to find someone else to do your hair. Try Motions CPR conditioning treatment, it will stop damage really soon.

Your putting way too much chemicals in your hair!!!!! It's one thing to get your hair relaxed (i get mine relaxed also) But you should never use dye. Maybe you should try a semi Permanaent color rinse instead. It won't break off you r hair. Keep up with your relaxers every 6 weeks and keep your hair conditioned, try a hot oil treatment every once in a while and keep it trimmed. It should grow back in no time.
