I use 18% proxide with bleach when lightening my clients hair which lifts dark hair to a nice yellow but its no longer available so i'm stumped how else to lift it, i've used 12% but its not strong enough and only slightly lifts it but still very dull.

You can sit the client under a dryer and use heat to accelerate the bleaching. You have to check frequently to make sure that the hair isn't over bleached.

it has to be applied more than once im affraid if you cant get the normal strength. Gwen Steffani has to have bleach applied to her hair 5 times in one sitting to achieve the light colur her hair is

use pre lightner with conditioner .
