You could try eating small meals throughout the day instead of 3 meals and snacks in between. East maybe 5 or 6 small meals.

People say to eat a large breakfast, average lunch, and a small dinner.......well, if you're a person who likes to snack at night and you stay up late then I can tell you that isn't going to work.

Other than resorting to some type of herb or drug, there is nothing to really reduce the appetite a great deal. The water thing never worked for me....it's certainly worth a shot, but if you're still feeling hungry, then just eat. The best thing to do is track how many calories you eat.......I mean really track every single thing. That way, when the cravings come, you know how many calories for the day you've got left to work with.

A good site to use is a site called :
http://www.sparkpeople.com

You can enter your weight and goal weight and it will tell you how many calories you should be eating daily. Don't try cutting yourself off completely or giving up everything you like, just save room for them by tracking your calories.

Good luck!

Drinking a lot of water can help sometimes, but I suggest that you eat high in fiber food. Eat fish, green leafy vegetables, whole wheat bread and chicken. For fruits, don't eat those that are very sweet, oranges and granny smith apples are best. Drink milk, it works more than water.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. And go to bed before mid-night.

Ironically, the best way to curb your appetite is to ... eat. By consuming small amounts of lean protein, complex carbs and fiber/good fats at each small meal (ca. 5 per day) you can better regulate blood sugar and cravings; two main reasons we overeat in the first place. Pair it with exercising every day (at least 30 min.) and you have a magic formula for weight loss!

Water is always good, however it is not going to curb your appetite completely. Sometimes your dehydration can mask itself as hunger. Stay away from carbs, the more carbs you intake the more you'll crave. Try eating small meals, but stay away from caffeine, and drink a lot liquid while eating. Do not keep temptation around.

Drink water. That's what I do. I find that if I fill up on water I won't beable to each so much. But don't starve yourself. It's okay to have little snacks in between your meals(fruit, cereal bar, yogurt etc.)

Drink lots of water and exercise each day. Also, try drinking a glass of water before each meal.
