Good question... I feel that some people would've believed in her, but then there would be a parting of ways in the religion and a new form would surface with a male as god. I asked my friend if it was possable for 'god' to be a woman (she's christian), she said no way a woman could be god. All religion does is put a hold over the people that believe in it, control their mind and their free thinking. So yes, some would believe others would call it wrong and evil.

God is not a man or a woman. BOTH male and female are in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Believeing people will always believe in God, not matter how God chooses to reveal Godsself.

interestingly enough, a lot of the ancients worshiped the female aspect. Christianity and others enforced a male god.

Coming from people who thought bible texts like 1 Corinthians 14:34-35: "...women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says, If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church." was a good idea this is not so surprising.

I think the christian church is quite ****** up really, they contradict themselves and the bible so much. for example, christians believe in everybody being equal although don't allow women to do certain stuff, and i'm sure the church would condemn the thought of comunism. Therefore i don't really believe in god and feel that "god" wouldn't have been a she cos the church wanted it that way.

How do you know "it" isn't a she?? I think it is what it is. .God is not limited to our time or space, we do not know exactly what God is, except by His own words, and said that He made man in His image, and that God is Love.

He is neither he or she. He has created men and women, animals and birds and insects, plants, planets and your own soul. but i understand how the humanbeings sometimes limit their mind with ignorance and sometimes fail to apprehend who God is
