I am a Muslim. Can i become a Christian?

I am fed up with Islam. I like Christianity because they are very peaceful, humane and very lovable people.

That is not a question you have to ask, if you believe in the divinity of Christ as the son of God and the saviour of mankind, that he died on the cross to forgive the sins of man then you are a christian already.

However you don't have to be a christian to be peaceful, humane and lovable.

of course u can..you have the freedom to do whatever but carry the consequences of any choice u make in life. and ask urself what is it that upsets u about muslims and u didnt find the christians do? war? who is in iraq and palestine murdering thousands everyday? fanatcism? are the klux klan muslims?
i am not trying to put this on christianty at all. what i am trying to say, these are the crimes of human beings trying to use religon whatever it is as a shield and disguise. if u r into christianity just to be allowed to drink wine etc, then u r on the wrong bath because christianity doesnt allow it. if u r renouncing islam because of the fanatic actions of others, read the true ways of the prophet of islam. in the end, it is your choice. and am sorry if you faced bad things in your life, i hope you find your happiness in whatever u choose

wahoe, its ur choice, but need to tell u religion is not about its people, its about the religions teachings itself. if some muslims and the media are portraying islam completely wrong then its not to be blamed on islam.
if someone drives the car wrong, the car is nt to be blamed for it.
christianity is dear to my heart, it is part of islam, with a bit of modifications, if i dont beleive in christianity (original christianity) then i wont be a muslim. thats why im proud to be a muslim.

make sure u read ur quran and ur bible before u do so bro.

Christian who Reverted to Islam, and I thank Allah the Almighty
For having guided me to The religion of Truth.I can understand
your frustations if you say that you are fed up of the behaviour
of some muslims due to lack of knowledge of the religion,But
to say that you are Fed up of Islam, is Talking like a disbeliever
in Allah the Almighty.It shows that you have no Knowledge of
your religion and being lucky enough to have been born in a

about , may be pray once a week or once a year, enjoyement ,
parties, Music, Dance,Drink as much Alcohol as possible,enjoy
Sex, commit adultry,covert other peoples property,believe in three gods,and do everything Possible against the commandments of God and what? just believe that jesus Died
For your sins and Lo and Behold you will enter Paradise.Do Not
Mistake me there are lots of Muslims who also do the things that
are against the teaching of Islam but we know that we will be
held accountable before God on the Day of judgement and we
have a system where we repent By Asking Allah the All merciful,
to forgive our sins By diong the good things that he has
commanded us to do, especially Praying, fasting, charity etc,
There is no easy way out as christianity promises you, and in the
end you will be the looser, Go back to the teachings of The Holy
Quran and the Teachings of The Prophet muhammad[ peace
and blessinge be upon Him ] and study your religion For the
truth that it represents and stop looking at the behaviour of
Muslims for guidance.The media is Doing a great Job of Maligning Islam and Muslims and are closing their eyes andhears
to what these peaceful People are doing to the Muslims. I ask

If you are in a muslim country I would move first, so you do not get executed.

If you are in a safe country then visit chruches near you and talk to the pastor or priest about your desires. Find a church that you will be happy in. It does not need to the the first one you pick.

Study the bible. Start with the book of John....then the rest of the new testament. Finally, study the old testament last.

Then you don't know Islam right. i don't mean that Christianity is wrong. Islam comes from the word salam which means peace in Arabic. Let me tell you a brief story about our prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H). When the atheists tortured the Muslims in mecca, the Muslims had no other choice but to leave mecca, OK?
When Muhammad(P.B.U.H) returned to mecca and was victorious he told the atheist(who tortured and killed Muslims): "Go, you're free."
Now tell is there a more merciful story in Christianity?

It is really easy to become a christian. Becoming a christian is a free gift! Eternal life is a free Gift that God wil gladly give to you!

First you must ask yourself, if you died today, where would you go? Heaven or hell?

Then ask yourself. If you do die and stand in front of God and He asked you why you think He should let you in, what would you say? What reasons would you give?

These are difficult questions, yes..?

Praise God, He is wonderful.
First thing you must realise is that all people have sinned and are far from God. (Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ) (if you want a bible you can download one on your computer at www.e-sword.com)
The Bible asks us to be perfect, like Jesus is perfect...
But now I have a problem...IM NOT PERFECT! I 'M FAR FROM IT? how can God ever love me, if I cannot be perfect like God asked me?

I realised that if we tried our best. Lets say you only do 3 sins a day (get angry once, desire something that is not mine...and hate someone for hurting me). Only 3 sins, is being a a pretty good person right? Well, that adds up to more than a THOUSAND SINS A YEAR!
if i grow old to be 70 i'd have 70 000 sins?

how can i ever be good enough then....
Well, God had a problem.
For he is a loving God, the bible says, but He is also a fair God.
Our sins must be punished. If i were to go to court for 70 000 laws I broke, what would a fair judge do?

God is love. He had an awsome plan...

Once upon a time there was a general who was riding with his men, he also had his mother with him. They only had enough food to eat very little a day, or they would not make it until the end of their journty. The general warned them that anyone who stole of the food would be whipped 40 times.
And yet, someone stole some food every night.
When they finally caught the person, the general saw that it was his own mother who stole the food!!! Now what was the man to do? He was fair and could not go back on his word.But his mother would not survive such a beating!
What he did was this.
He took off his shirt and told his men to beat him instead.


THIS IS WHAT JESUS DID FOR US.This is why God became man. He realised that noone on earth could pay for their own sins. it was impossible. so he sent jesus, son of God and perfect to be crusified. And he raised himself from the dead. He loves us so much more than we even can dream of understanding love!!!!

He paid for all of us..(1Co 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, .)

What an amazing God!. In order to serve Him, you need only do this.
Pray. Talk to God. tell him that you want to give your life to Him!
then you may know that you are his and Nothing can take you away from His love. It is that easy. God is so desperate for you, that he made it so easy to become his child..
(Rom 8:38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. )
Then Make sure you get baptised as soon as possible. Look for Chrisitans who can help you. Pray. Find a church you can attend and grow spiritually. You cannot do this alone.

Sure you can, but make your decision carefully. There are a large number of Christian denominations that all think they are the 'best'. So make your decision on the basis of you want a personal relationship with God or not.

You need not ever choose a denomination. Many Christian have no affiliation with a particular brand of church.
