Anytime your chest hurts you should STOP! That said, jogging is not for everyone. Try race walking instead. It is not as hard on your joints, and it will get you in great shape without hurting your chest or giving you a headache (probably). Also, you should clear any exercise program with your doc.

A couple of years ago I decided to take up jogging and suffered similar symptoms. I thought I was just really unfit then at a routine visit to the doctors they discovered a minor heart problem.
I still do loads of excercise but its more walking and cycling than jogging.
Its probably worth cutting down on jogging until your next doctors visit just so your doctor can give you the all clear.

Your wobbly bits may need a better support to prevent the pains. Cardiovascular exercise has this effect on many people. Don't jog too fast.

I have that same feeling when i started exercising after stopping for 2 yrs..guess you havent't been exercising for quite sometime..

are you breathing properly? or do you jog in cold weather, wrap yourself appropriately...also drink lots of water...if you got chest pain check w/ ur GP, dont ignore it....

If you're also short of breath, it could very well be asthma
