It's funny what tempts us away from the world of vegetarianism isn't it.

I was vegetarian from the age of 14 to 18 and even though I don't actually really like turkey that much it was the Christmas dinner that finally broke me because I was always feeling like an outcast at the meal.

A friend of mine stopped being vegetarian when she married a butcher. Another was swayed by the smell of a bacon sandwich.

I am now a meat eater but still enjoy vegetarian food and actually prefer the meat free versions of some things. However a good burger made with all the trimmings from some nice steak is a real treat i don't want to miss out on.

you're not evil - just normal, most people go through a vegetarian phase but few are still doing it when they're 35.

My partner was veggie for 24 years, then I moved in and made a bacon butty one sunday morning and he cracked! Hes evil, but in a kinky way! lol
Enjoy the meat!!! Its the natural food chain. And, I must say roast beef is an excellent choice to break the habit. I hope it was slighlty pink and smothered in horseradish.

Having eaten beef once doesn't need to change you back to being a meat eater. No, come on, no diet is better for your health and that of the planet than a vegetarian one. Go here to see why you shouldn't eat dead animals again!

Besides, how many delicious vegetarian dishes have you eaten in the past 11 years? What can be better than the combinations of all the wonderful colours and flavours of fresh veggies, herbs and spices?

Nope, you are not evil, just exercising your right of choice. You chose to be a vegetarian, now you have chose to eat meat. It is completely your decision. I hope it was lovely.
I gave up being a vegetarian for the love of bacon. mmmmmmmm that first bacon sandwich was beautiful. I will never forget the taste. Now bacon is just bacon but that first bacon sandwich was a small taste of heaven.
Don't feel guilty, life is too short for guilt. just enjoy. x x

You are NOT evil at all , Meat is very good for you
the human body needs a lot of protein, to function well .
Meat contains, easily available protein.

We are not designed, to live ,on vegetable protein alone ,
As you have to eat so much more, to get the correct amount ,
of protein, your body needs .

Ideally for a balanced meal ,you should
1/3rd meat
1/3rd vegetable
1/3rd starch ( bread , potatoes or pasta)

And you should enjoy, what you eat !
taste is an important part of your well-being

Congratulations, on returning to a healthy diet !!!
Do not let anyone ,'shoot you down in flames',
for doing that !

You're not evil but ease yourself back in gently. Don't go straight for the Big Macs and bacon sandwiches because your body will struggle to adapt to the high cholestrol content.

evil does not depend on whether you eat or don't eat meat. vegetarians, vegans, those who eat meat and even those who refuse to eat any veggies can all be good or evil. my question to you would be what was your motivation to become a vegetarian and what made you change your mind?
