Well I don't think you should wear that t-shirt you have that says Happiness is seeing your Mother-in-laws face on the back of a milk carton. Just be yourself and you should be okay, you might want to wear a motorcycle helmet, some earplugs might help and you might want to gag yourself so you don't say the wrong thing. Find out if her Father drinks if he does take over a bottle of good whiskey and he will be your best friend.
Good luck

Bring something for her. You don't have to spend alot of money, just something thoughtful. Find out if she likes flowers or wine or candy, whatever. Your girlfriend should know what would be appropriate. It will help break the ice between you. Be respectful, I guess that should go without saying..........

R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Nothing short of total Admiration! For her as an Authority? And her as being Your Girls' Parent! Congrats on being in Love. Mess this up? And you'll harm your thing with th Misses.

Don't speak out of place. Wait for them to ask you a question first, answer honestly and sincerely. Just relax and be yourself. Don't try too hard to impress them, they'll love you.
GOOD LUCK

confused here....is it your mother-in-law or your girlfriend's mother? Are you engaged? Best advice is be yourself, and treat the woman with respect as you would expect someone to treat your mother.
