I have got tickets for the Tatersalls stand and also Booked two seats in the Guinness stand. I was wondering if anybody could tell me where abouts the grandstand is and what sort of view i'm expected to get?

The Grandstand is enormous, you cant miss that. There will be 80,000 people there, but everyone can see the racing. You should have a fantastic day. Take plenty of money. Dont bet the favourite, Kauto Star, his jumping is flawed, no good over those fences.

Cheltenham Gold Cup day is a nightmare for moving around. Around 70,000 people all in the same place, vying for the same spot. You are able to get a good view, but generally only if you are in the right place at the right time. You are a lucky man to be going I hope you enjoy it.

The Grandstand is literally just behind the guiness village, infront of the bookies.

You can download quite a comprehensive map of the racecourse and enclosures from www.cheltenham.co.uk/racecourseinfo/enclosures_guide_and_map.html. The website also has a variety of other info about the course which you may find useful. Have a great time, you lucky thing.
