Lets assume a young girl of 16 was brutally gang-raped & killed.
Now lets assume there was a witness , who did not take part in the rape or killing and was not a part of the gang.
However this witness saw everything , could have helped but did nothing to stop the rape ......... Is the witness guilty ?
What should be the punsihment for the witness ?

This is not a question of ethics - its of religon - the witness is the witness of all such events in the world - yes I m talking about God watching that girl get raped - come on you religous types lets see if you have the guts (or cunningness) to answer this one

Well if God is able to see everything , then he can see the rape , why does he not stop the rape ......... coz God does not exist.
All religous types will say that the rape was a way of testing the faith of the girl ......... then by that logic the rapist was doing Gods work , and by that logic canot be held guilty of doing Gods work.

This is not about religion, it is about your ignorance. Not all people are supposed to live to be 100 without a single care in the world. Some people die before their first birthday. We are not in any position to ask "Why?" We are to accept that there was a reason for all things and that while God certainly does exist, there is also an evil supreme being that was working through those who gangraped and killed the youngster. Do not question what you do not understand. Question only your faith - lack thereof - that it was meant to be and that perhaps one day when you pass from this world, you will be able to see it more clearly.
Perhaps if some one or some thing did not intervene, then it was meant to be. It was that young girl's time to die.; Had she not been brutally raped and killed, perhaps the following day she would have been diagnosed with inoperable cancer or slipped on ice and died when she hit her head. Perhaps she would have been in a fatal car crash.
But you asking a more basic question than the one you are displaying - you are asking people of faith to prove their faith. That is not for you to ask of us. Only you can come to terms with the reason for faith and more importantly, the existence or non-existence of God or an all-mighty. I can counter that with a question to you. Can you prove that God does not exist? Can you prove that faith in a higher power is misguided?
God gave all mankind a free will. That free will allows all people everywhere to choose to believe or disbelieve. And you know what? They don't have to have a reason for their belief or non belief. Either way, it is not YOU that I answer to. It is not YOU that I will one day stand before on Judgement Day. It is not YOU that decides who lives to be 100 or dies in the womb before birth - or anywhere between.
Accept that which you cannot change.
Change the things that you can.
Have the wisdom to know which is which.

Simply, everything happens for a reason.
Let say she got raped, and she lived. Because she got raped, the neighbourhood got more security, therefore no other girls would get raped in the future. Even though it was unfortunate on her behalf.
Let say she died, same as the above but she wouldn't suffer the hectics of life, instead she would be with God straight away and won't suffer the rest of her life.
Clarified, smartass?

it rather is amazingly clean that God meant this verse to be lined in His residing be conscious to describe why human beings such as you haven't any longer any thought on what His residing be conscious means, in fact you even discover it silly..... a million Corinthians 2:14 New worldwide version (©1984) the guy with out the Spirit would not settle for the flaws that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he won't be able to understand them, via fact they are spiritually discerned. you haven't any longer any information of the be conscious "Apostates" and you have some grandiose concept that it ought to three how stick to to those that flow away the JW's cult to stick to Christ and not the self admitted uninspired adult adult males of the WBT$. those that flow away your cult are interior the sunshine of Christ and not the darkness it rather is barely pierced with the aid of the angel that masquerades via fact the angel of sunshine, devil. basically a cult might prepare the satanic coaching that the large Pyramid is God's bible in stone for over 40 3 years and then carry a convention named after devil, the sunshine Bearers District convention of 1972. No ask your self the clicking asked the question, "Are JW's responsible of hate crimes?".

God is spiritual being while man is human being. You can not c compare spiritual from human because spiritual who is God has is powerful in spirit and human is powerful on material thing.. If a man did not nothing to stop the crime and yet he did not go to the police to report the matter, he will be charged for collaboration with the rapist but when you refer to God who is spiritual, punishment for the rapist shall be punished spiritually after his death when judgment comes

This is my opinion:
The act of witnessing is not a crime. If he is unable to help because of being outnumbered is also not a crime.
BUT if he did not seek help from others who happen to be nearby, that is a crime. Also, if he does not come forward to be a witness is a crime.

this is a stupid way of trying to "stick it" to those who believe in God. Well **** you...i'd like to see you try and stop a gang-rape. i mean, if u have the audacity to question the beliefs of others u must be some amazing being right?

...most State Statutes say that if you witness a "crime" and have not reported it... you could be found that you have committed a crime... lesser then the crime but still a crime... it's always "right" to do the "right thing".... do "we"....? no....
