I think religions other than our own may be in error. Maybe not completely as some religions believe in one God or are monotheistic so they have some truth in them. However, the ones that have sprung out not because of revelations from God but for material wealth are maybe false or again mistaken as someone mentioned. Some religions that deal with devil worship or the desecration of the sacred species of the Body of Christ may be Satanism in disguise but some of its members who are sincere in their beliefs may not even know that it is possible it is. I am not too sure of my answers, but this is my humble opinion. I also believe that there is only one God so those that believe that there are many gods may be mistaken also. If the religion exists to destroy the children of God or the people of the earth maybe it could be evil. They seek to destroy the souls and the bodies of people so maybe they are doing the work of the evil one.

OH NO - you are going to cause World War 3 with this question, it will be interesting to read the answers from all the zealots, fanatics, intolerant, the mad, the crazies, the tolerant, the faithful, the unfaithful and the fair!!! I shall watch closely, because i suspect you will get a lot of racist and intolerant replies!!
Good Luck
My Answer to your question is -
We should tolerate and learn to understand ALL belief systems, no-one has the right to say what or who is evil in religious beliefs, because ALL religions have a similar thread, a similar moral code, sadly it is 'MAN' that has twisted and manipulated these codes, into their own idea's of what 'religion' should be, which has maintained the culture of hatred and fear amongst the religious groups, who are very intolerant of each other!

It seems that it is now the most approprite time for us to learn the teachings of various religions to realize the Divine Unity. Division among humanity in the names of anything is definitely false. Division in the name of religion is even more ridiculous. God must be One, Religion must be One, Humanity must be One. All thoughts, attitudes, actions against this principle of unity are false.
Because of our divinely endowed free will, each human being thinks and acts completely different to the other, but none can behave against Unity. Unity is life and divine; division is dead, evil.
The best principle for the return to unity is mutual love and respect. The more we observe this principle, the more we will be able to find out the noble qualities in all human souls.

I've just recently left my Christian beliefs recently but I can tell you what I felt before I had switched. "Other religeons are evil, false, and satanism in disguise, BUT! that doesn't mean the people who believe in them are necessarily evil." That however is blown out of porportion by the some of the Christian people's negative associations. In example: Your beliefs were brought on by satan and thus you are evil.

Ppl may believe whatever they wish as God made all ppl and therefore if they are worshipping some other "higher power" or believe in another religion then that is what he intended for them.

We are all God's children. God commands us not to judge other people. I think each religion is praying to and worshipping the same God under a different name. There is only one, He said so. Best wishes.

I used to believe that.....the second I stopped believing that was the time I realized that GOD was my illusion to myself.....a refusal to grow up, a crutch, a father figure that was never there, an apology, a game that I played for years and I nearly blew up. Now I am cool as a cucumber.
Atheist, and never better.....thankyou and goodnight and good luck

Depends. Some are evil, some are misleading, but most are good--that is, they teach good things--but are insufficient to really solve man's problems.
