I believe you can have them operated on by a cosmetic surgeon. However, I would say, just love your curtains for what they are - there's nothing to be ashamed of. Most women probably have some degree of curtainage.

I think plastic surgery would be the only thing that could reconstruct your vaginal area. I see you got advice to see a gynecologist. You could start there, but I am certain he/she would refer you to a plastic surgery.
