I hear high pitched frequencies all the time and no-one used to believe me when I was a kid either. I can walk past the front of someone's house and tell wether they have the tv on from the high pitched whistle I can hear.

If you mean the doctor has been retired for 20 years, you might consider seeing another doctor to rule out a physical problem. What symptoms are caused by your low dopamine levels? You probably need to be evaluated by a neurologist.

The only thing delusional would be feeling that your neighbor is causing this. But your physical problem could be causing you to feel this way.

See another doctor and tell him or her about your symptoms NOT what you think may have caused them.
