Misguided policies administered by a kook, most Americans supported the war and some still do. You reap what you sow. Though you are wrong in your assumption that it is a war of freedom most people thought/think that it was in reprisal for the terrorist attacks of 2001. Bush and his minions have since changed the reasons for attacking Iraq a half dozen times each time deepening the original lie. Many people here are against the war and are totally against expanding it. What is really scary is that we are now pushing to go against Iran for the same reasons we attacked Iraq, currently ramping up the rhetoric against them.

I think the problem lies within the American themselves.
Firstly, who asked them to vote for such barbarians as presidents? Who voted for the approval of war? Why must the Americans in the end fall back to "oh, we did a mistake" after sending the troops to war and then start arguing with the rest of the world that the war was well justified?
Americans need to change their education system. Most of them don't even know how to read maps and don't even know where Iran or North Korea is. To them, the United States is their world and the Universe is the globe they live in.
I am not anti-American in any sense, I just wish to see a more peaceful world to live in but unfortunately, this is only a dream. More and more killings are happening every day. Our kids can't just go out to play with their friends anymore.
Street violence is also another problem that needs to be solved, let alone war.
Americans and the rest of the world needs to WAKE up and realise this: The very moment a war is waged, the wager loses. The ones who go to war are never winners or warriors. They are the losers. They lose their freedom, they lose their life, they lose everything.
A war is NEVER a solution to PEACE. Some may disagree with this and I can understand. Many countries and nations are not built out of 'peace' from the beginning. It all started from a bloody history and that shapes the people of the world we live in today.

Not all Americans support these wars. The Bush administration is acting on its own w/o support from the American people or most of congress. You will find alot of people on here that are war hungry conservatives that have no clue what is actually happening. Just dont' lump all Americans into the same group most of us do not support what are govt is doing. And dont' say that we voted for Bush because he lost the 2000 popular vote unfortuntly our president isn't elected by popularity just by which one wins the most big states. Our countries are engaged in some type of war. China is always threating tawain. North Korea and South korea don't get along. iran and iraq attacked eachother in the 80's. Pakistan and India will never see eye to eye. All countries use violence as a way to bully other countries. The USA, China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia are the biggest bullies and terrorist nations in the world.

Not as stupid as they are ignorant. They like to quote freedom of rights, democracy and things like that. Capt Kirk though is one of the "stupid" ones. More soldiers have been killed in Iraq than in 9/11. Unfortunately the Americans are always paranoid about some one supposedly after their way of life. If its not the Communists its the Russians and now the Muslims. One does not need freedom fighters to attack America the gun lobby will ensure mad kids have enough weapons to kill American students on a regular basis..... However they are doing the world a favour. It takes 1/4 of a barrel of oil per annum to sustain one life in Kenya and 100 barrels of oil per person in America per annum. So we have to see Americans dying in Iraq as a reduction in greenhouse gases... Bush can then sell more oil

Simple matter of logistics. If there is a threat or even a perceived threat we would rather take care of it somewhere else rather than our back door. The war on terror has already paid it's dividends. There has been no more attacks in our home land. In 5 years of conflict we have lost less soldiers than we lost civilians in one day on 9/11. No one is blowing up our buses or gassing our subways. There are not mass violent demonstrations in our streets. The rest of the world WISH they were that "stupid". What is it about our freedom and strength that just ticks the rest of the world off?

First off lets not confuse our failed leader as the instigator of war in Iraq not the American people. And a war on terrorism can be won if you are willing to do what is necessary to win, and the American people and leaders are not willing to do what ever it takes. If you want to win the war you need to fight terrorism with terrorism. Black Jack Pershing did this against Islamic terrorist in the Philippines in the early part the century. Take away there reason for dieng Heaven and you can end terrorist acts.
What he did was took 50 Islamic terrorist out dug a hole gutted some pigs soaked 49 bullets in the pigs blood, then walked down a line and shoot 49 of them in the head with pigs blood soaked bullets.(in Islam coming into contact with pig and especially eating it is a no no) Now you have 49 tarnished Islamic terrorists who's buddies and families Will not want to touch and they lose heaven as well as their 69 virgins......

So sad, you call us stupid and you don't even realize why. Did someone tell you to hate us and not think for yourself? Are all your problems because of some other country...some other countries politicians? Maybe you should blame your problems on Iraq and Saddam like we do? Here you are trying to fix our problems like you know whats best for us.................don't you realize that's what we're doing too? You stereotype every American as uneducated, but that's okay cause we think the same of you. If you want to see why America starts wars than look at Korea. Pick the side you want to live on and get back to me.

The fact that so many of you can freely make the comments that the U.S. is a 'terrorist state', without fear of government reprisal, is solid proof that we are NOT a terrorist state.
