The English language may sound nice, even very nice,
to my Dutch ears,
but all depends on articulation, accent, pronunciation.

My German grandmother who did not know any English used to say it sounded as if someone was trying to speak with a hot potato in his mouth. I think that might explain pretty well how it sounds to some Germans.

you cant do nothing we are bound as we judge international currency on US dollar basis as we are helpless to use this language
