AVI is a video file format, you can open it with VLC Media Player:

Avi is a video, a Divx Player, or Windows Media Player, just chedck the options/preferences you want the player to play what format videos is set to play AVi videos

.Avi's are video ext files open it with a Media Player......DivX player it goes with most of the movie players.........
