If you use too many kits, the peroxide will turn your teeth a grayish blue color. Also, the strips may leave areas untouched. If you only use one kit per year, you should be fine. If you want to go very white, white strips aren't for you. I prefer SuperSmile, because it's easier to use, and you can bleach harder to reach areas.

I tried them at my dentist's recommendation. They worked great, but I was in total agony. My teeth are fairly sensitive to start with and I went ahead and used them and my teeth were so sore for weeks afterward. Again, they did work though. After I explained this to my dentist he said that I could have stretched out the treatment by just doing it once daily or something like that and it wouldn't have been so painful at a lower use. Lately though, I've been use Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse. I like it a lot better. It uses peroxide just like the Crest Whitestrips, but it's a lower dose and all you do is rinse your teeth with it for one minute before you brush them. I think it works great and I haven't had any negative side effects. I've been using it for about a year. Good luck!! :)

Crest white strips are actually pretty affective if you use them as directed. Of course, if they're expired then they might just turn your teeth more yellow. I know for a fact that smoking has a negative affect. If you're using the ones that take a week, if you smoke at all during that week it could delay the results. But for better information, try reading the instructions that comes with the strips. And from personal experience the bleaching actually makes your teeth a bit sensitive, temporarily. But it goes away. Hope this helps.

And the the teeth protects your tooth from decay. do no longer hassle, some strips artwork in as low as 7 days

No, they are fairly non-abrasive and gentle. However, the bad effect I found was that they barely work at all. And if you don't use them for a day, you can't even tell you ever used them.

I don't think so - my dentist has recommended them. They can make your teeth more sensitive temporarily - and I've heard that sensodyne toothpaste can be helpful through that.
