First... do you have any devices that aren't working correctly?

Second, you can get into device manager and look for the device(s) that have a question mark in a yellow dot. or an exclaimation point in a yellow dot. Those are devices that are not working correctly and sometimes will keep reinstalling over and over... (I had one modem try reinstalling itself so much that I had 200 instances of the stupid yellow dot)

Once you find the problem device... DELETE the problem driver from the device manager. Sometimes, just doing that, it will reinstall correctly.

Sometimes you have to manually reinstall the device driver. See the device's manual for instructions.

Its possible that you have a usb cable which not connected to anything. When the pc is booting up it searches for new hardware, and if theres anything connected to the pc with nothing connected to it it flashs up with that message.its also posssible that you may have tried to install new hardware and its not been installed properly. It basically means youhave say a webcam installed but theres no software installed.

Go to control panel, then to add hardware, you should then be asked if you want windows to search for new hardware, check yes. Windows will then search and tell you what it finds.

Well if you didn't add anything...that's strange. Look in your programs list to see what is there that you don't have.
