How old are you? I used to pack on that many calories but I was a pretty active athlete. You could have a really high metabolism which will slow with age. I'm 29 and I was eating like I was 18, but boy do the pounds start showing up around my waist. I now have to train twice as hard to maintain my weight. But from 13-24, I would eat around 4500-5000 calories a day. When I turned 25, I had a really low paying job so I would stuff myself at an all you can eat buffet at lunch and try to not eat for the rest of teh day, I would also skip breakfast. Believe it or not, I gained a ton of weight because I messed up my metabolism. My body was trying to go into survival mode and it stored the calories as fat. I still have the chubby fat from four years ago and I went from 165 to 205, 5'10. So whatever you do, don't starve yourself or go on a diet. Consult a doctor.

You are eating the calories, but you need starches and carbs. Also, you need to focus your exercise to accomplish your goals.

It sounds like you are eating "empty calories," then burning them right back off. Look into a more balanced diet, then change your work out from calorie burning to more focused work. If you are trying to muscle bulk, then make sure that you focus on weigh work, and only use the treadmill, stationary bike or ellipticals for warm-up/cool down. (Ellipticals are huge calorie burners. 15 minutes can burn over 200 calories)

it is not a lot approximately energy as that's what you're ingesting. you may desire to consume one thousand energy an afternoon of cheeseburgers and not drop some pounds, or 2000 cals of fruit and veg and drop some pounds. Load up on sturdy meals and shop exercising consultation, and drink a lot of water.

I would definitely go see a Physician regarding this....it sounds like a serious health issue. It could be a Thyroid problem.
