like i am going to stop my grandaughters pocket money unless she goes to school she refuses, their is only her and a teacher and she says she dont, like her but she dont, know her she only met her once. she has been expelled and i am fed up with it all and want to get a job.

hey denny, you can still be an old softy and love your kid like crazy and lay down the law and make her do the right thing all at the same time. being soft and being hard are not necessarily mutually exclusive when it comes to parenting. it takes work, patience, and practice, and your grandaughter will probably give you a hard time about it, but in the long run she will definitely appreciate that you gave her rules and guidelines that show her the way to grow into a mature, responsible, confident, and capable adult, and she will appreciate that you enforced these things when she was too young to know what she was doing. good luck!!

It sounds like you have a lot of frustrations.

But if you really want advice rather than just to vent, I suggest rephrasing that a little bit more comprehensibly -- and perhaps also, as they say on Jeopardy, in the form of a question.
