You should have asked this question BEFORE you bought the car, that generally works better, as I will show you the real facts.
Toyota as lost its way, and like Big_John said, has more recalls in '06 than vehicles made for three years running. Consumers still love Toyota, but they have fallen to the bottom. Here is one of the best websites: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2006/10/toyota_quality.html
It has lots of good info from their tons of recalls to excuses from toyotas exutives about their newfound lameness. Dont impusle buy a car, it is the absolute STUPIDEST thing you could do, even though the average American would do just what you did and jump to Toyota. If you have a few days to test the car, take it back and save yourself the pain of a lemon and go get a Civic or Cobalt. In Car and Drivers test the Corolla was placed in 5/6, with the last place Nissan a fresh model, and therefore had none of its "bugs" worked out. http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/11880/2007-toyota-corolla-le.html The Car and Driver test was only Asian, small sedans so the Cobalt was not in it, but in Automobile Magazines test the Cobalt SS came in second to the Civic Si. I hope this isnt to late for you to find the car you really want.

We have a '02 corolla with 30k miles. The good: it's never had a single problem, totally reliable... aside from stuff like oil changes, you have to give toyota credit for making a car which requires zero maintainence.

The bad is that it is a pretty boring car. Also I ride a sportbike most of the time and it is kind of annoying how bad the acceleration is by comparison

I had two Corollas (a 1995 and 2003). They were great cars. I traded my last one for a Prius last year. I like the Prius a lot more, since it has quite a bit more passenger space. It's also a lot nicer looking (at least in my opinion), plus I love the smart key system.

I just bought one also about 3 days ago. So far i love it. Love the braking on it and it is quit. I got the LE version. What did u get? Oh, I got a question for you. When you start the car. Does it take a sec for it to start up or once you trun the key does it start right away? I hope you understand what i ask lol. The reason why i ask is because on my other cars. They seem to start faster then the 07 i have. Is it just mine or is it with all.

Yes it's a good gar, but you should've waited for a redesign that will most likely come for the model year 2008. That, or get a Honda Civic. But that's only if you like having the newest body style.
