I have entered so many competitions over the years but I have never won anything, not even anything small! Is it to do with luck or is it just totally random???
whats the Best thing you have won?

Sorry to hear that you have had no luck in competitions. I don't know what particular competitions you enter, but I think that it is a combination of luck and skill. I've won a few, no major prizes; bed spread, book voucher, etc. I once entered a competition sponsored by Robinson's. It was to mark the occasion of Princess Ferguson's first child. Incorporating a royal theme, entrants had to complete the following in a maximum of 15 words: Robinson's food and drinks make a right royal feast because... My winning entry continued: 'they reign victorious, taste bloomin' glorious and as for rivals, they crown them all'.

Have you entered competitions or contests. If you have entered many competitions and failed, it my be because you need to focus on one competition and become skilled in the task that the one competition requires. If you are entering games of chance the only way to increase you chances is to enter more contests. I have only won one contest in my life; I won a teeshirt.

you know my favourite saying for competitions is "you cant win it unless you in it!"
Just keep that in mind and carry on entering. Maybe your luck is being saved up for a really big prize? or some people say that if you enter too many competitions then you are spreading your luck out too much, instead of focusing it on one thing.

Maybe you keep getting the answers wrong. The best thing I have ever won was a Christmas Hamper stuff full of very expensive food and drink

Maybe its because you're actually TRYING to win. Next, time, just forget about the prize and give it your best shot. It shoul work. It did for me... I never won anything anytime I tried to. I discoveed this answer at an NCC camp I attended. I never lnew there was a Best Cadet prize till I got it!!!

You say competition rather than lottery or contest, so I would assume that you've been 2nd best so far. Don't take that the wrong way. In Track I was never fast enough to place 1st. Oh well. I enjoyed competing. Keep competing if you enjoy it. Every dog has its day!

I got here second in a poetry writing verbal substitute in usual college and virtually were given to fulfill the genuine minister!! Unfortuantly second position prize turned right into a pair of football tickets for the crew i did not help :(

its not a luck or random. it depends on your hard work and planning buddy..
The best thing i have won is before 20 years... i entered my mother's ovary gland struggling not to let others in...
That was my first victory...
