More interesting language in India is Pahi, a mix of Sanskrit and local language or mother tongue or mix of other Indian languages. Whether you write in Verbo-poetic or poetry its fine. No individual Indian language has this pungency. To my knowledge Telugu and Urdu has this effective pungency. For highly melodious songs Bengali is the best. For soft and effective lehars it is Hindi. For high mobility it is Punjabi. For your information for the poetry of songs there is bar for the usage of language. Everybody can follow it if the put their mind.
