I checked and it isn't there yet, and I wasn't sure if it would be in at midnight, or maybe later in the day. I'm concerned because the franchise tax board is supposed to take some out and if there's no deposit made my account will be overdrawn. Thanks for any info.

It really should be there already. Ours always were there by 6AM on the scheduled direct deposit day. We got ours last Friday and it showed up bright and early in our account. However, others posted that same day wondering where their deposits were because they had not posted yet. Your bank may need an extra day to post it to your account (possibly) just call your bank and see if it's even pending, but sometimes the money is not there for 2 or 3 more days because the person used a tax service to get an quick refund and they were told the fees would be taken out of their check and THEN deposited in their bank account. So if that was you---I would not look for it until next week.

For sure I worked for H & R block for a while and if it is scheduled to be automatically deposited into the account on a certain date it should be there. It does depend on your bank because with my bank it is there by 8 am the day it is scheduled. Your return might have been rejected or maybe your bank account information was incorrect. Check with who ever you filed your taxes or call the irs. Go to www.irg.gov there is a link where you enter your social and it will tell you the status of your return :-) Good Luck!

It may post tomorrow and the bank will backdate it today. Unfortunately, you won't be able to write a check out to take the money out until it posts. If the tax board automatically takes it out, then it will post at the same time.

If that happens its your own fault for spending money you dont have. when you have it in your hand then you spend it not before you never know what's going to happen. I am supose to have mine tomorrow. you darn sure dont see me out buying carpet for my home yet. I want to make sure I am getting what my tax lady says I'm getting.
