Why do I feel dirty by chatting with Russian online girlfriend?

I know they are people too, and they have the same needs, but why do I feel it's dirty/wrong? I dont want to use someone's misfortune to love me, I just find their culture interesting.

Any thoughts?

Depends on your intentions, are they pure? Are you leading her on, with false promises? If that is the case, you really shouldn't do that.
If you are going to follow through with any promises you make, and have their best interest at heart, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
The region of the world, makes no difference, people are people, feelings can get hurt the same in Russia, as they can here. Be honest and be true,
Besides, she might be leading you on, so beware. A true Russian woman, with old Russian morals, will not ask for money, no matter what the need may be. I have studied this behavior personally, and seen guys get caught up in this trap. I almost got stuck once.

U know bro most of the time we have ignored our guts we end up being hurt and disappointed.If you feel it's dirty maybe it's your psych telling you that something is wrong. U would do good to listen.

Hey , do not send that girl any money I have a friend who got suckered into that . The hole time he was emailing some dude who kept telling him to send money so she could get papers and fly out to see him and now he is out 7,000.oo and all he has to show for it is a picture of some girl that this other dude was sending him.
