Well at that young age there are differences that are very well misread but just as real anyway. Boys are not as mature so they will likely do inappropriate things that seem silly or crazy to a young lady who might be a bit more mature at the same age. While it is normal to start noticing attractions at this age, it is important to remind your sister that school is number one priority and for her future, education is where it's at. So don't get all wrapped up with guys right now. Fun dates are about it for a while---and who will you date??? The guy who seems to return the interest, showing a bit of maturity and courtesy, and self respect. Not doing the silly stuff young boys will probably do---goofy stuff, silly talk, that buddy punch thing, show off stuff, idiotic clothing, calls or e mail about goofy stuff.....name calling--anything ffor attention. Just don't let it get out of hand---like I said--keep it fun and light. Girls are emotional creatures and men are visually stimulated--action stuff----very few get it right at a young age---welcome to young love. Good luck

Haha, I'm guessing this is something you really wasn't prepared for. You're the big brother in the case, so you can tell her how she can ask him, but then you can tell the boy who she likes that you're her big brother and if he does ANYTHING to hurt her you're going after him. It's the classic big bro' scenario and you're the star. Show her that you're still her bro and love her. Make sure she knows NO guy can take your place as the man in her life. You gotta keep a close eye on it and be sure of what goes on.

Most little boys at that age dont know how to tell a girl that they like them so they usually pick on them a lot. And in reality they really like them.

Tell her she is still at the age of kids. She should consider studies no worry on crushing to someone once again.

Maybe he doesn't like girls yet because of puberty & all. But your sister could always write him a note asking him in a subtle way or get one of her friends to ask him. Girls tend to do that kind've stuff.

*sigh* children these days... Well usually depending on how the boy acts usually he would get nervous around her if he liked her, he would laugh or *at times* pick on her nothing really to dramatic.... It's hard to tell with boys that young.
