I think it ended when you waited a few months before making plans. Did you talk to him during this time? If you didn't keep in close contact, at least over the phone, he may have thought you were just not very interested. He may have seen the wait as you dragging your feet or having second thoughts. So while you were waiting, he obviously met someone he likes alot and lost interest in you. It happens. Better luck next time........and next time, set up the date within a few days of asking the guy out so he knows you're interested! Good luck.

You waited a few MONTHS. A month is a long time.
He isn't into you as before because apparently in the time you were waiting, he found someone else and is now in an exclusive relationship.
He has someone else to occupy his thoughts, and he would feel like he was cheating if he was as into you as he was before. Besides, even if he did have feelings for you, he wouldn't act on them because of the relationship - unless he was the cheating sort.

I'm sorry things didn't work out. When you wanted to wait a few months,I wonder if he seemed agreeable to that? If so, then once again it's too bad he couldn't stick with what would had been an agreement in the first place.

If you asked him out but then didn't make plans for a few months that's probably what killed it. If this guy was really into you, he probably found it strange that no plans were made and figured you asked him out for some other reason and weren't infact into him. Therefore he chose to make other plans instead of sitting around waiting. Normally you ask someone out and make plans right away.

well see there is always 2 sides to every story, you mention that you asked him out but waited a few months befor making plans. well did it ever cross your mind that he may have thought that you were playing games? and that you may have lost interest in him? thats probably why he was so cold torwards you when he seen you...he felt like you had him waiting and i think thats what turned him off....thats why he told you he was in a relationship when he saw you, i think it was more like revenge on his part.... so next time when you ask someone out don't wait a few months to make plans b/c it makes it look as though your not interested and alot of ppl don't like to play games...though you may have been serious about it but he didnt think so.

The problem could have been that you waited to long to set a date. And that made him feel as if you weren't into him so he decided to move on.
