It's not as enjoyable as you anticipated. How depressing.

Yes, it does happen on occasion. No big deal. That's why it's good to have a back up bottle for situations like this. Pick a wine that's totally different in style (or color). After you finish your back up bottle go back to your first wine, I guarantee it will taste better.

Yes. It sucks because then you can't find anything to drink that you feel like. I used to drink Brown Brothers Dolcetto. It's a cold red wine. Tried it?
