I would love to hear anyones experiences. I hear there are a bunch of weirdos that people meet online in the dating scene.

There are perverts. Especially guys from India. I don't want to date anyone I can't physically see before me. No way, ever.

Met someone online (1st and only) was a chance meeting tho arent they all. That was going 7 years ago. I made it very difficult on him. Wouldnt even talk on the phone until "chatting for four months" and met in person at 6 months. Had him meet me at work, dragged him in photocopied his drivers licence and wrote down his plate number and told a friend if I dont call you the next moring this is the "creep" I am with. We can laugh about it now but the truth of the matter you never know what you are gonna get. Most are not as lucky as I am. I know I wouldnt do it again and wouldnt recommend it.

I live in Canada and I met a guy from Australia. He came to meet me first and I went to Australia twice to see him.
I met an airline pilot, a lawyer and a physician online and then in person and they were from the USA.
They're not all weirdos, most of them are normal people. You get weirdos everywhere.

I met my husband in a yahoo chatroom. I am in South Africa and he was from USA. We chatted and dated online for a year before marrying last year november. Truth is there are baddies out there but its up to you who you allow in. You will know when a guy is weird, when his stories dont match up, when he wont do live cam chats etc. Its a jungle out there but everywhere in every aspect there are precautions to be taken, there isnt anything perfect in this world, its all according to what youre looking for.

Hey there are perv's out there but not all of us are like that anyway meeting people online just to be friends whats wrong with that?????? and then you see if you wana meet that person.

If you are online for anything else than fun, flirting and time wasting you are in for a nasty surprise. As appealing as it is don't date online unless of course you are dating some1 you are sure of.

i think that you should take your time getting to know the person...like....dont just talk to them online...and then go to meet them in a dark alley at midnight.
talk on the phone...and if you two ever decide to meet, make sure its in a public place...
