Probably codec problem. I would first install VLC media player as plays most things and you can get information on codecs used.
Would then install Gspot, this program will tell you what codec you need and where to get it. You can then choose either to install a codec pack (klite codec probably the best), or to instal just the codecs you need.

You probably dont have the right codecs you need to play it properly. Try downloading Divx player free from www.divx.com then the file should play properly

download your film again. if the problem occurs again then try downloading from another site.

it might have been converted incorrectly or u might have a codec problem, try installing klite codec pack and try downloading the movie using reliable torrents or limewire
