im currently trying to shed off like 10 more pounds but i have this little problem with breakfast.

when i eat breakfast, some hours or even minutes later i get even more hungrier. not only that, but i will have an urge to splurge during the afternoon and at night.

the other problem is, when i dont eat breakfast, i get tired quicker when im working out at the gym. (unless i have a big meal for lunch)

so how can i diet sucessfully and eat breakfast at the same time?

eat something high in fiber, like oatmeal or apples. they really fill you up but your body can't digest it. however be careful about fruit juices because those are so high in sugars and most of the nutrients from the actual fruit are lost. an easy way to cut calories is to replace everything you drink with water or tea (without cream or sugar).

in order to have a successful diet you must eat 3 meals a day. Make sure theyre good meals, not a lot of fat but full. As far as breakfast goes ive found it best to eat a food that will stick like oatmeal, or a bagle with paenut butter on it, those are great diet foods and filling as well. When you get an urge to eat make urself busy because then you wont think about it otherwise grab a slim fast bar or something along those lines.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Its a function of what you eat. If you're eating something with a high glycemic load, you're triggering an insulin reaction that reduces your blood sugar level, making you hungry again right away.

Lose the donuts, or whatever it is you're eating.

I like a small bowl of Grape Nuts with a lot of fruit on it (preferrably blueberries), and some milk.

If your in a real hurry, energy bars like Clif Bar or PowerBar can give you enough calories and nutrients to function without the sugar rush.

Eat something like oatmeal or something that sticks with you. Studies have shown the metabolism slows down if you don't eat breakfast, so it's self-defeating not to.
Also, when you get hungry later at night, drink a BIG glass of ice water. This fills your stomach and believe it or not, your body has to burn calories to warm up the ice water in your stomach.

Try some simple fresh fruit. Eat it on the go...even again as a mid morning snack. It hits the spot, has plenty of complex carbs(real fuel) and fiber. Drink plenty of water and you should be fine.
